BUGS!

So I started this post several days ago--and I am just now getting around to finishing it. Reece is really into bugs. His sweet teacher Mrs. Harris is teaching on bugs and plants for the rest of the school year. Reece tries really hard to find a bug or plant to take to class. Well Tuesday we hit the jack pot. I was out taking a few pictures of our dogwood tree that finally decided to bloom. I put Mariemma in the wagon with a dum dum pop and Reece was of course running around getting out some energy. Reece came running up with this really awesome find--a luna moth. We have read about them but never seen one. Reece was really sad that it was not alive but what a treasure for him to share with his class.

Mariemma has never been one to smile for the camera. I hate it because Reece really is an easy laugh. I think we are starting to turn over a new leaf. When I got the camera out to capture--no pun intended--Reece bug, Mariemma just yelled "cheese". It was so cute--I just had to take her picture.

The Greatest Show on Earth!

Last night Reece and I went to the circus with some dear friends. The kids were so excited--and what kid would not be with all the noise, lights, and of course venders at very turn. We took Reece to the circus when he turned 2--thankfully this was a totally different experience. Reece knew the clowns were funny--last time he was scard of them. And he really enjoyed the all the acts. Of course the best parts were the elephants and tigers. Reece was in awe--here are a few pics from the night.

Caedmon decided to try out these funny yo-yos during the pre-show. Reece would have nothing to do with this lady!

The prize! I told Reece he could have one toy if he was well behaved--this is it a really large elephant for $15. I was thankful it was one of the cheaper toys!

The boys had a front row seat to see this elephant in action before the show. He actually painted a picture holding a paint brush in his trunk.

Take me out to the ball game...

Reece has a new love for baseball. More pics to follow but here is a video from a few weeks ago. Enjoy! The best part is when he runs the bases!

party time!

Reece has a very busy social calender as of late. He had two birthday parties on back to back weekends. This was a picture from a party at the park. Reece knows now that party means cake and ice cream.
